Why we built it this way

The mail leads with the outcome, the PDF carries the detail

Most quote emails say "see attached, let me know what you think". Ours puts "what you get" front and centre, lists three deliverables, surfaces validity + total, then asks for a one-click signature. The PDF is reference; the email is the decision moment.

"What you get" cobalt panel. Same panel as the printed quote, lifted into the email. The reader sees the outcome before they click "open attachment".
Three orange hex bullets. Same motif as the deck and the report. Drops the same brand tell into the email body.
Mid-band facts row. Quote ID, lead time, valid-until. Plex Mono, scannable in two seconds. The validity is in orange, the only orange in the whole email after the CTA.
Big "Sign online" button. The action is signing, not paying. One click, one-time link, no account needed. Sub-line gives the paper fallback.
Validity hex carries id + date. The orange hex on the right of the panel centres three vertically stacked lines: 'Valid until' label, '14 May' deadline, and the quote ID below. One element answers 'when' and 'which document'.
No competing CTAs. Sign or paper. Two paths, one button. Buyers who need to forward to legal can do so without an internal "where do I click?" thread.
Person signature, not noreply. Same hex avatar block as the invoice email. The buyer replies to a person.
